Multimedia Presentation students had the task of creating their houses in a three-dimensional environment. After sketching every angle of their house, students were then able to add incredible detail to help shape their design in the 3d world. From windows to doorknobs, students worked hard adding appropriate colors, textures and detail to their final designs. Artists: Gabriel Sanders, Christopher Beaudoin and Kevin O’Neil
Art 2 students used black and white paper to create two Notan collage designs, one abstract and the other design recognizable as a noun (person, place or thing).
· A successful Notan design has balance and contrast of positive and negative space.
· Craftsmanship is essential to a Notan design.
Objective of the project: Students created original images using cut paper to demonstrate balance between positive and negative space.
· Art Elements – Space and Shape · Principles of Design – Contrast and Balance
