Art 1 Color Study Triptych

Art 1 Color Study Triptych

Happy New Year!

The last project of 2014 was a color study and Art 1’s first introduction to painting. The students picked a single color and based three colors schemes around it. They created a triptych painting which is a painting in three panels. One panel was monochromatic, another complementary and the last was analogous.

Nice job, Art 1!

Graphic Design Travel Posters

Graphic Design Travel Posters

Students in Graphic Design completed a new project recently. They picked out of a hat for a state to design a travel poster for so no two students had the same subject matter. Students had to use a specific color scheme: monochromatic, analogous or complementary colors. They could only work in silhouette and started learning about type. The results were AWESOME! Great job, Graphic Design!
