Graphic Design Party Invitations

Graphic Design Party Invitations

Graphic Design students are starting to combine many different concepts together to create original designs. For this project, students were assigned a client in class to design for. This is much different than designing for yourself in the way that the students now did not have the ability to choose color schemes, imagery or text. They had to create a design that showcased their knowledge of contrast, repetition, alignment and proximity as well as choosing font pairs that complimented their theme. Students balanced the client/designer relationship well to showcase their aesthetic as well as making their client happy. Great job, Graphic Design!

Graphic Design Travel Posters

Graphic Design Travel Posters

Students in Graphic Design completed a new project recently. They picked out of a hat for a state to design a travel poster for so no two students had the same subject matter. Students had to use a specific color scheme: monochromatic, analogous or complementary colors. They could only work in silhouette and started learning about type. The results were AWESOME! Great job, Graphic Design!
